Days like this day are made to be remembered.

So yeah, went to the 'Comic Con' at the convention center in down town San D. It was like a Star Trek convention running headlong in to a Marilyn Manson gig. There were freaks, weirdos, geeks, saddo's, obsessed fans and oddballs all in one building. It was like being right where I belonged. Got a signed card by one of the Lone Gunmen from the X-files. Chatted to him about travelling around and stuff. It was cool. Heard loads of girls screaming from a distance ( I didn't tell them I was coming), and when I looked around, Corey Haim and Corey Feldman were turning up for a signing. That was pretty fucked up. Corey Feldman rocked in 'The Goonies' Nuff said.
Now when I came to this convention, I didn't really plan to see anyone or anything in particular. I would have been quite happy just wandering around. Looking though the program though was sweet. First talk..........from ROB ZOMBIE. How fucking sweet is that? I used to love the band White Zombie 10 years ago, but then to go on and start making horror films was just the bee knees. He was chatting about House of 1000 Corpses with the rest of the cast and about the follow up 'The Devil's Rejects' Sitting up on stage taking this piss, with his big fat dreadlocks. That was cool. Rob Zombie!!!! Ha ha ha
Next up was a discussion with director Rob Rodriguez and artist Frank Miller talking about the comic to film movie.......SIN CITY. OH MY GOD!!! How fucking cool is THAT!!! I tried to find some Sin City novels in New York when I was with Caroline as I had been yakking on about how much this graphic novels rocked and how the artwork was amazing. And now they have mad a film on it. It looks amazing. Please anyone reading this? Get a novel by Frank Miller (one of the Sin City series) and read it. Just so when the film comes out, you can see what a great job they have done. The artwork really is THAT good. The film is shot in black and white with dashes of colour (like the film). the film is also mixed with bits of colour like the books and the actors look EXACTLY like the the characters. Drooling in anticipation. Nuff said!!
Had a bit of a break before the next seminar that I wanted to see, so I wandered around the stalls. It was cool. It was full with artists, illustrators, computer games, merchandise. They had a sealed off signing part for actors/actress's from Star Wars. From the distance I could see Darth Maul, Anakin Skywaker, a few others and.......Princess Leia. How fucking cool. I even saw Falsh Gordon and Daisy from Dukes of Hazzard. Hmmm.....Daisy!!!
Next seminar was about a film called 'The Grudge' Its meant to be one of the most scary things ever. I admit to watching the trailer and being a little freaked out. Fucking cool. One of the producers of the film is the Japanese dude that did 'Dark Water' and 'Ringu'. I was expecting him to show up, but instead the star of the show turned up instead. Sarah Michelle Geller aka Buffy the Boring Slayer. She was looking quite cute though, but everyone there was asking her questions about Buffy and going 'oh your my idol, etc etc blah blah blah. I wanted to know about the film. "shut up with the Buffy questions dammit" ran round my head repeatedly.
Next up was the Aliens vs Predator movie coming out in a few weeks. I was drooling from the mouth. Seriously. Even Lance Henrikson popped up to say hello. He pisses all over Buffy. My hat goes off to you Mr.
Aside from all that, the day was cool. There were obsessed fans from every walk dressed up in costume. It was kinda cool. Its the first time that I have ever been to anything like this in my life and I'm hoping that it wont be the last.

Ont the way home, I got the wrong trollie (like a tram)and realized my error, 2 stops before reaching Mexico. Ha ha Ooops. Was a great day though. If i wasn't travelling, i could have easily spunked all my money in that place and not had a penny left.

On a bummer note though (this seriously sucks), all of the photos that I took at the convention centre were fucked. Despite it being really bright indoors, all of the pictures I took turned out really dark. Lets just say, I will never have my picture taken with Gollum, Predator(gutted), She-ra, and Darth Maul ever again. I also had pictures of Buffy, Rob Zombie, Frank Miller, Princess Leia and a few others, but they are not to be seen. If I ever bump into anyone then you can have a look at the originals, but they are dark. Yeah, so I'm seriously fucked off with that. I'm not having alot of luck with the camera's am I? I've put a few pictures up on here over the last few entries.

I hope all is cool to everyone that is reading this. Anyway the beach has my name on it. I'm to spend the day in solitude, getting burnt

Adios amigos.
