So yeah. Still here.

Not really been doing too much. Still stuck in 'lazy bastard' mode. The other day I took a walk up the ocean beach pier which was pretty cool. There were people fishing and gutting the fish there and then on the pier. Some guy is hacking of this fishes head and the fish is still twitching away. Eugh!! I know it happens, but it ain't the thing I wanna see. Sat on the beach and watched loads of women wrestling each other in an inflatable pool. They were drawing quite a crowd, with limbs flying and breasts popping out of clothing. I left with a smile. Walking back, I stumbled across this young lady with the most amazing parrot on her shoulder. She said I could hold it, but when I stuck my hand out, the little shit stuck his beak right into my finger. Ouch!!! Becca's budgie is forgiven for crapping on my top in comparison

Picked up a bit too much sun. I am post nuclear fallout florescent pink. Bugger!! Not burnt really, but it is a shocking pink. There is not really too much to do in Ocean Beach. It has some shops and bars, but that is about it. All of the 'to see' stuff is miles away and requires catching a bus (shudders at the thought). Ellis and I are planning Sea World and the Zoo when he gets a day off. That requires a bus ride and I need someone to hold my hand ha ha ha.

Went Downtown the other day with Ellis (who was 90 mins late for work - we were drinking night before). He works in a jewellery shop, but hates it. Today he is doing 14 hrs.....in the heat.....in a suit.....indoors. Thats gotta hurt for someone who was freelancing for Tobasco Clothing. He's desperate for a new job. So as he was at work, I wandered around the mall. It was pretty impressive, open top and set out like the Labrynth. Sarah, Sarah, Sarah....!! Wandered around the Gaslamp Quarter, which gets its name from the gas lamps on every street corner. What a clever idea!!!(shakes head in dismay). It was pretty cool, but just shops. Nothing to see. Found an Irish bar with American waitress's. I wouldn't mention it except for the fact that they had ...Blacktorns. Now, I am not one for daytime drinking, especially in the heat, but the shock of finding some decent cider instead of the piss-poor water'd version, was too good to pass and it quickly eradicated the manky taste of beer from my chops whist watching Columbia play Argentina on the big screen. Argentina eventually won 3-0.

Also been thinking about going south to Mexico for a few weeks. As much as living with Ellis is cool, he's quite stressed at the mo with his job, lack of cash, stalker girlfriend, annoying ex, and ex wife (now that is serious woman problems), and it makes the atmosphere a bit tense sometimes. Plus every time he comes home, I'm like slouched out on his couch, chilling', watching DVD's. I think it might be rubbing him up the wrong way. Its not certain, and would be after I finish the scuba diving. Its quite funny. The other night, he was like "dude, come and live out here after you've finished travelling, cause I fucking love you man, you can stay as log as you want etc etc" This conversation repeats itself every time his mouth touches beer, but its cool.
Don't get me wrong. This place is cool and I love being by the beach, but living with Ellis for 6 weeks might be a bit too much for him.
Living in the US? Yeah, could do.
Living in New York? Yeah, could do.
Living in Ocean Beach - San Diego? Possibly, when I retire.
Living with Ellis - again? watch this space...

I'm too old for flat mates and would rather have somewhere of my own. Everything is exciting at the mo, and my thoughts are all over the shop. I've put a few more photo's up, but it's hard to find places with cd drives to upload pictures on. You'll all have to be patient.

Hope all is cool. Does anyone actually read this?
