Hello all.

Ok, so I'm not in Brazil, still stuck in Farnborough.

Kind of a good time to update this, as I am at work (bored) and currently abusing the internet. I am due to leave for India at the end of April, but certain things have come to light and I gonna have to make a few changes I think (cue Benny Hill music)

Reason 1: My sister is currently working on a cruise ship travelling between Miami and Cancun, and is due to finish her 8 month stint mid May. If I leave before she comes home, it could be a possible 3 years before I see her again.

Reason 2: I am slightly wary of leaving with only 4000 in the bank account whilst I sod off walking places. I'd be a lot happier with 6000, thus making my journey to Aus a little more carefree. I would possibly have 5k by the time I went, but still. I know I could scrimp and scrape, but why bother eh? Also I still have had me jabs or bought any gear yet, so I don't want that cutting into savings before I'm gone.

Reason 3: Currently in a band called Mothers for Angels (www.mothersforangels.co.uk). Am loving it completely. Everyone in the band is well into it and its the only thing that I look forward to at the mo. We're just about to start getting gigs, a website and a possible recording, so I don't really wanna stop that just yet. Also, I don't think any of the guys in the band know that I'm going travelling, as I haven't told them, but whether they know or not is a different story. Don't want to rock boat unnecessarily. If it all goes pair shaped, then I won't have to.

Guess I have some thinking to do. I have been toying with the idea of putting the ticket back until the end of June. This way I could get some gear free (due to approaching birthday), giving me another 2 months to save and seeing how the band are doing in 5 months time.

Also debating whether to start travels in the opposite direction, as I have I reckon all the Asian countries are more likely to be more exciting than say Aus, Usa etc. Will have to speak to ticket people and find out.

Right, I'm off to grow some hair, I may be some time
