Amazingly we were all down at breakfast at 9 am attempting to chat with the waitress in French and enjoying cooked-to-order eggs (soft or hard), hot chocolate, tea, coffee, breads, and jam. This hotel has been in the same family for 70+ years, and their personal attention was obvious.
After renting skis across the street, we boarded the local ski bus and went about 20 minutes up the road to Le Tour where we had a great day skiing. Everyone loved it!
Later that night we had dinner at a restaurant on the other side of our hotel: La Flambé. It sported a giant sled décor, the wait staff moved quickly, and we were out of there by 9 pm. That was a good thing because we were ready to sleep!
