We took the kids to Super Foods so that they can smell the fresh bake bread and they love the smell as soon as we park the car. We have to go inside to buy some bread then we went to this souvenir place near Certified to buy some t-shirts. DD1 want to buy an Aruba friendship to give to friends back home but they don't have it so we went to downtown Oranjestad.
After lunch the kids went swimming in the pool while I was doing laundry in our room and started packing.
I want to see the Aruba sunset one last time. Lola and DS do not want to go out anymore. So we went to Eagle Beach by "workman's cache" and watched the sunset. We bought a take out dinner from Scala. I ordered the Scala burger and it was too salty for my taste. I tasted Lola's caesar salad wrap and it was good.
Ling & Sons, Kong Hing, Super Foods and Certified compared:
We were able to compare prices of these 3 supermarkets, while we were in Aruba on April 8th-19th, 2009. The prices really vary. Ling & Sons has the most variety selections both local and international foods. I like to buy my seafoods here. They're fresh and there's a lot to choose from. Certified is like a warehouse. My DS does not like to come here. I like to buy my meat at Kong Hing. Milk in Aruba is so expensive.
