We arrived by bus and settled into this absolutely beautiful and charming hacienda. It was recommended by National Geographic as one of the most beautiful, authentic hostals in South America. We are in the penthouse suite overlooking the city and the Su Merced chuch. The room is furnished with antiques and we overlook the patios and courtyard filled with flowers. We get to enjoy this place for four nights.
It began to rain after dinner, but that did not deter the carnaval revellers who continue to dance and make music in the streets.
