Wherever I go, I take pictures of bicycles and scooters. Think you can't live without a car? In Shanghai there are lots of bicycles like these, rusty and beat, but still going. As I've seen in Japan, none of these bikes were locked up. Look up the screen from this text and you'll see three examples of Shanghai bicycles.
This is a 'Forever' bike - they're everywhere - especially popular is a version for the ladies
Then there are the tricycles, hauling scrap metal, bags filled with building insulation, cases of Coca Cola, anything.
In a few minutes we're off to Guangzhou, then Dongguan. A drive, a flight, another drive.
