"Sunday already"?  that's how the kids are starting the day.  "Do we have to leave Yosemite?  Do Naomi and Craig have to say goodbye?  I think i feel a tear.  When will we see them again?  When are they moving to Virginia?  Will we see them there?  Will we see them this summer?"

When we go to Maine, it's the same, when will we see everybody again?  When will we see Gabe again?  now they will have even more to miss...congratulations Aunti Carrie and Uncle Scott... I can't wait to visit my newest niece Yudani..she was born on April 15th and i hear everyone is doing great...I am so glad :-)

Well...we said our goodbyes, gave out hugs and James gave out more jellybeans.  We'll see you again in Virginia sometime!  We packed up...which i am thankful to say is minimal when you are in an RV....climbed a few more rocks and then finished the dishes while we were on the camp roads.  We stopped at Yosemite Village to do the "tourist thing"...Brian slept in the RV while the kids and i went into the village.    Brian had pulled a 24 hour day on Thursday working then slept 6 hours on the plane and then drove all the way to Yosemite.  I think it will take a few more days to be caught up on sleep.    The Village was too crowded for me, but i picked up a great book "oh, Ranger" that i hope to read to the kids in the RV.  The kids got their National Park passports stamped and picked up a few post cards.  I can't imagine what it is like during the peak season.

After the village, we were off to see the Sequoias in Wowona.  The road out of the valley was much prettier because we got some elevation quickly and then got some great pictures of El Capitan.  Then...to the sequoias. It was supposed to be a mile hike through the great Giants.  Unfortunately, the road was closed due to ice, it was dinner time, we were tired (i shouldn't say we, Brian was ready to go) and we really didn't feel like walking 2 miles to the path for a total of 6 miles.  We told the kids, that they'll just have to come back some day.

We arrived at the Coarsegold KOA and set up the camper.  We all took showers and were able to refill water and electric.  We missed the office hours and the pool was closed so it was a bit dissapointing.  So we set up a movie and then went to bed.  I think we were more tired than we thought.

All i have to say is that i do not want to drive an RV through mountain
roads.  It is big enough for me to drive on the straight highway.  And
people out here in California do not believe in guard rails.  C'mon
people!  I have enough adrenaline already.

Tomorrow is a big day...we have to get to Arizona.
