Day 82 - September 1st 2007
After getting pretty much no sleep the night before we are up bright and early and manage to book into the hostel for the next 2 nights which is good news. We both grab a hot drink in an attempt to warm up before hitting the beach where we wander for a few hours and even manage to paddle despite the water being absolutely freezing. We then head back to the hostel and hire an old school canoe for a couple of hours and pootle up and down the river which is good fun as the weather is hot and sunny. We head back to cook up some dinner at the hostel and have an afternoon beverage. Carly is delighted as we picked up some corn and it turns out to be better than Jersey corn (Dre that is a big claim!). We then enjoyed a camp fire and that great American tradition of schmoors (marshmallow, chocolate and biscuit).
We retire to bed fairly early as we are knackered from, the previous nights lack of sleep only to be woken at midnight by a sealion colony that is sleeping in the bed next to Garvo. I have heard some snorers in my time but this woman takes the title (Homero she even made you sound quiet!)
