We headed south after a lovely evening with Patricia and Alistair. First call was at Gretna Green where we heard the only piper we have seen so far. Then drove through along the side of some of the Lakes, round very narrow roads with few passing places, and only had a couple of sudden stops! Passed round Ullswater, Windermere and Coniston Water. On down even narrower lanes to Kirsty and Brian's cottage called The Bull Pen. It has a stream called Black Beck running through it, and a little bridge beside.

Did you get married at Gretna Green?

Linz has a little dog named Windermere, which she got in Windermere. Your mention of that place brought back fond memories :)
