finally here..... first impressions... it's hot n muggy, n I can't find the apostrophe on the keyboard!!! Ok, found the apostrophe (see previous entry). So the hostel is in a really old building, quite neat. We have a huge door and a little balcony in the room, and the bed is a lot more comfy, so comfy in fact that we fell asleep prompafter we got here. I{m nto sure about the luck we have about getting picked up from airports, this time we were to meet a guy from the hostel holding a sign at the meeting point in front of VIP car. We found the meeting point (where everyone waits for you) and found the VIP car, but we did not find anyone waiting for us, so we waited for a lil while longer then since we had changed some cash I suggested that we make a call. The lady who answered did not know too much english, but she managed to get the point across that we were to go to the VIP car stand (car rental/taxi) and give our names, when we did they will provide a car. That was easy enough and the sign that they had was on the other side form the side of the booth that we were on. The lady got it all together we paid and then the porter guy came out with us. It would have been easy to take our bags ourselves, but he came and when the car came he asked, oy, he asked for a tip. I had no idea how much so I asked him.... he said 5 pesos each, and at an exchange rate of 2.6 pesos to a buck...... I think maybe we should've carried the bags ourselves.

So after we woke up we were hungry and were deciding whether to go and find a supermarket and cook some food or if we should go to a restaurant, and since we didn{t know really where anything was and it was about 7 pm..... we just walked til we found a restaurant, but I think since they don{t eat dinner til like 10, that they only were serving pizza...which was ok. It was 10 pesos for an individual pizza. I had the jamaican (ham and pineapple, olives, and red pepper (i think).... was really good, and there were leftovers. We walked back and I had a shower, washed a coupla shirts and sat with Brit to decide what we are going to do tomorrow.

Every south american major city has a plaza de mayo, so we're going to go there, and maybe to some museums...
