Ok so there were a few things that put a lil snag in such well laid plans. I was in bed contemplating why I was asleep on a friday night in bed right before I left, and I was deep in thought of "why would it take 2 days to get to BsAs if it is only 5 hours ahead of our time?" I got up and looked at the itinerary (4th time Jess!) and wow, we had a 27 hour stop in Mexico City, which probably isn't the safest city in the world at 11pm with a bunch of bags and no idea of where you are going...So needless to say I was at the travel agent early in the morn asking if she could fix anything...she couldn't so i decided to book a hostel, specifically picking one with airport pickup.... was great! I emailed the hostel, and just my luck the car was in the shop so no pickup... Maybe all the bumps will get ironed out nice n early...

Last night we had a "Christmas" dinner. More like mom's awesome food and a good reason for everyone to come over and drink. (thanks to everyone for coming over and sharing your night with me, and for all the thoughtful and caring words :) ) The food was awesome, alcohol palatable, and the company magnificient.

So now it is Sunday and not too much to do today, but runnin around like crazy tomorrow and then breakfast at the airport with family and friends. Again, thank you to everyone !

seriously. so happy for you. if i didn't get off my ass and email i would have missed you. jess told me about the xmas dinner, i'm glad it was great for you. oh to be so young again. whatever you do, don't blink. don't miss a single thing. savour every delicious moment. and even the ones that aren't so delicious. do you really know that the world is your oyster young one? i know you know. you are so full of life. be happy my friend. and be safe.
