25 hours after leaving Taif, I arrived in LA on the same day I left. I was well knackered and too tired to write so I got drunk! Day 1 of the ride, faffed around getting paperwork done and a few modifications to the horse then underway. I have to say that I had a grin on my face from ear to ear! Nearly ran out of fuel in the Mohave desert but managed to limp to Barstow. Bit of fuel and then wragged it to Needles as it was getting dark. A effin long freeway through the mountains and desert.

Day 2. Found the satrt of the road and set off grinning and chuclkling, if only my mates were with me! Or a woman to share this fantastic trip!.Road got really bad on way to Amboy, so bad that it very nearly had me off the steed! Fuel on this beast is a bitch, can;t get a decent distance before she needs watering. The scenery is fab, no, better than thatm effin fab! Off to Oatman over the Colerado river into Arizona and Indian country. There are plenty of little reservations here. Up the 50 mile trail through the lower Rocky mountains to Oatman where Burrows (Donkey's is easier to spell) in the street. On to Flagstaff where the scenery changed again but this time it's Elk country and forrests. Got my arms burnt riding in a Tee shirt. Found a great bar and got suppin fire water with a member of the Hopi tribe, Ef me if he didn't fall off his stool so pissed man, Laugh, I nearly effinn died man.

Day 3. Not much original route 66 road left here so bangin the milkes in on the free way to get to the nxt bit of route. Went to Crator near Winslow, big hole in ground that costs 15 bucks to enter, 15 to see a hole, quite cheep if it's the right sort!  Riding into Navajo country now, two wheels on my wagon and all that stuff! Arrived in Winslow and you know what happens there don't you! I'm standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona, such a fine sight to see, it's a girl my lord in a flatbed ford slowing down to take a look at me! Disappointed with the kack of 66 though! Passed into New Mexico and and scene change again, still no decent stretches to get on to, I can see em but they just end suddenly and I have to back track. Now in Gallup at the El Rancho motel and bar so guess what happens next?
