Woke up late, hung around the place for a while. Left the house at 12:15pm heading to the train station with the guys, they were going to Plovdiv, I was going to get a train towards Dimitrovgrad to avoid the previous days hitchhiking disaster. Got another good salad and some fried cheese which was quite nice. Took a train 100kms out of Sofia, which cost 2.90 Lev. Got to a small town 50kms from the Serbia/Bulgaria border. Walked for a while to the freeway to try and get a ride. Was there for an hour or so before I was picked up by a Bulgarian girl going to Belgrade to visit a friend. We spend a good few hours together, nice girl. Arrived in Belgrade and went to visit my good friends Kole and Dragana, had a few beers with them and afterwards arranged to meet with the girl from Bulgaria. Went to a few places, not much to report, apart from getting home at 6am.

Left Dragana's at midday and got a bus, with great difficulty on to the highway heading towards Zagreb. Arrived there at 3pm, but after remaining there for the best part of 3hrs, hung over, tired and patience waining, not to mention various servings of abuse and threats being made at me, I decided to go back into Belgrade and take a night train. Though it was against protocols, I felt it was necessary as it was too late to arrive in Zagreb, and I wanted to go there and sleep that night. So I booked at ticket to Zagreb, 25 Euro, and got a Pleskovica and a packet of Smoki's before I left. Managed to sleep on the train, although various stops for passport and ticket checks during the night. Train was scheduled to arrive in Zagreb at 5am.
