Monica: Well, we fell asleep earlier than anticipated last night. I guess the city that never sleeps kicked our butts! I woke up early today to the sound of horns blarring outside. I guess that means it was rush hour. I haven't been able to wake my travel partner up yet (see picture).
I may have to resort to drastic measures (cold water, shaving cream, something).

So I'm sitting here uploading pictures and got completely freaked out. There is a window washer staring right at me through the window.....what the?! Then it made me wonder why I never see window washers in San Diego. Do we not wash our windows????

Today we set out for Central Park. It was the best time we've had so far. It started with the BIGGEST bagel you've ever seen. We took a picture with the fake Statue of Liberty, who was not reallyt a lady but a man who fondled me a bit. At sunset, we rode a horse-drawn carriage...awesome, visited Belvedere Castle, canoed and broke an oar (Levi did), enjoyed an Amstel Light at the Boathouse, hiked up some rocks and enjoyed a little down-time, watched some awesome break dancers, saw two weddings, saw tons of dogs and, yes, Levi said "AHHHHHHHH" to each one! Of course, we saw lots of freaks and took pictures of most of them. As we were walking, we saw this crazy lady roller skating with her arms up. When she saw Levi taking pictures of her, she started showing off. Then her guy friend who had no shirt on and tight little jeans started roller skating, no, not roller blading. Levi turns to me and says, "Now I've seen it all!" It was hilarious!!! The area around Central Park is beautiful! The architecture of the buildings are breathtaking. On our walk back to the hotel, I once again realized Levi is a true New Yorker. He flipped someone off wthout his middle finger. I know I am supposed to tell him that's bad but it was done at just the perfect time, I had to laugh. The only thing he is lacking but will have down by the end of tomorrow is he still waits at crosswalks until the walking guy comes up. New Yorkers just cross the street at anytime. The crossing signs mean nothing, as they do in Cali.On our walk back we scored some cool (cheap) movies and video games...yay! We also bought 12 bottles of water because it is so hot and we are trying to stay hydrated in all our daily activities. I actually got Levi to dring 64 ounces of water today. We carried all 12 bottles home, it was fun! Oh ya, we bought kettle corn too, that motivated us. Have I mentioned we packed for cold weather and it was 91 degrees today and very humid?! I would rather be hot than cold, but geeze, this is HOT! Oh, speaking of hot, have you seen the men in NY? They are beautiful. I mean, so clean cut, business suits, a little serious but still just lovely. Central Park has lots of skin and beautiful people, kinda reminds me of the beaches in Cali. There were lots of joggers, volleyball players, bikers, active people in general.Walking the streets are mostly business men and women rushing to and from meetings. Ok, I better let Levi talk now. We're headed out to Bubba Gumps or an Italian place tonioght, then to Ripley's Believe it or Not in Time Square. Yes, I know I said we wouldn't go out at night, but we're totally comfortable and there's so much to do. Talk again soon!

Levi: Hi people and fans! We have just come back from yet another adventure. This moning,im sure antie has shown u my picture of me sleeping. She's a great travel-mate...I'm sure some of u have found that out! Any ways this morning I woke up pretty late. When I did get up I got dressed and we left. We walked to Central Park and Antie took a picture with a man that was dressed as the Statue of Liberty! We sat down on a couple rocks and figured out what we were going to do. After that, we saw yet 2 more interesting characters. One was a man with a shirt off that had tattoos all over himself. The other one was a woman that was skating interestingly. We continued walking through Central Park and came up to some dancers. Here, I put some videos up to show you what happened. My favorite part is when the black man flips over many times. Then me and Antie went to a lake. We rented a canoe for one hour and set off. I was the one who was supposed to paddle until I broke the oar. Antie took over for a bit but she couldn't figure out how to go left and right and she crashed into the rocks and into a couple other canoers a couple times. We conoed under bridges and up one side of Cental Park. I saw a stubborn little racoon that wasn't meant for me to take its picture. I wasted some film trying to get a picture of that little brat. We somehow made it back with 3 pictures of that little racoon. Then we went to the bar and got some drinks. After that we asked a bike rental man where a castle was that I wanted to see. We went in and out of the woods and couldn't figure out where to go. Finally we made it to the castle. The stubborn castle closed 10 minutes before we were there! After that we took a picture of the castle and us with the coolest camera I've ever gotten (thanks Kathy). Then we walked back to where we started and then we found a carriage. We followed a man that antie wanted to sit in his carriage., Right when we were about to get him, he took Japanese tourists instead of us. We saw a lot of statues that had many historic names on them. One of the statues had Christopher Columbus. Another had Shakspeare. After we were done with our carriage ride, there was a man in a taxi that honked at us. I was about to put my butt up in the air and yell, "kissy kissy, kiss it!" Antie reminded me that I am a nice Californian not a mad New Yorker! Then Antie took me for the best ice cream I've ever had. It was a double-cone ice cream that had chocolate and vanilla. Then Antie had to go to the bathroom for the millionth time today. We went to a Blockbuster that was about to shut down. We got a bunch of water bottles and 2 games,3 movies, and 2 pictures of the front of movies covers. I got one of a man that is holding a gun. We are going to get on the internet and put our faces on the Transformers 2 movie and Crank 2, High Voltage. Then we came to our hotel and decided we are going to Ripley's Believe it or Not in Time Square and to an Italian restaurant or to Bubba Gumps. Gosh, this city never sleeps and neither will we at the end of a day!  I'll talk to you more tomorrow about our adventures. Lates people!!!

Ok, so after waiting ALL DAY for my phone call, I just got off the phone with you! I am sitting here with 1 eye open and 1 eye shut so I might not make much sense right now! I MISS YOU SO MUCH! I can't believe how different it is without you on a daily basis. I don't like it much so can you cut your trip short...please?! I love all the pictures you took today and the really cool break-dancing videos. I see what you mean about the brotha doing all those flips...that is some talent! Central Park looks totally awesome and I think I would fall in love with those Cherry Blossoms! I wish you could pick some and bring some back to me! Anyways, Soph is laying on my lap and seems to have calmed down after you talked to her on speakerphone. Thank God because she's been barking her head off all night and seems kinda restless! I think she really misses her boy, just like mom. We love and miss you lots, Pookie. Have a good night sleep and sleep with the Angels. XoXo~ Mom
