The Focus started to have a few hiccups on the I70, West of Casey, IL, around 14:00, the engine flashed a few times and stayed on. Fortunately, we found BEI Automotive Repair in Casey - with an extremely well organized and huge garage - who quickly identified a misfiring spark plug. We're temporarily stopped and should hit the road shortly with a brand new set of spark plugs and wires. The air conditioned waiting room is great for the wait. I really don't remember if we ever changed those plugs in the past 12 years...

We're loosing another hour today for the last time and will try getting as close as possible to Detroit, MI.
