At long last un lugar con gente linda!!! Though the only problem is that the place is crawling with argentinians... Todo el mundo habla espanol!!!!! The day before yesterday I hung out with some argentinians I met in an heladeria called: "Chocolates Patagonia" placed smack in the middle of Queenstown.. crazy. Pero este par de dias ya me hicieron recordar porque prefiero vivir en otro pais as opposed to Argentina.
Yesterday I went up the gondola which had a nice view over the whole of Queenstown and used some of the " carritos" or luge carts which were great fun, albeit short lived fun. After that I decided to go for a walk, which at first would end at Ben Lomond saddle but eventually I managed to get to the summit (950 mts above where I got off the gondola!!!!) The summit (1750 mts.) had a glorious 360 degree view of the sorrounding mountains, valleys and lakes (helped by the fact it was a bright sunny afternoon). I'll try to upload some photos.
The day I arrived in Queensrown I bumped into the third person from the ITBA that was coming to NZ, on the street, crazy stuff!!!!
