I took a day trip to the Tihuanaco ruins near lake Titicaca today. There were some impressive pyramids and stone statues, and the precision with which the tihuanacos had carved the stone to fit perfectly together was amazing (to carve they used llama skin with clay on it in a sawing motion).
Tomorrow I head up to Copacabana on lake Titicaca which I´ve heard is really nice.
