Today we got up after a few hours of rest.  I think we got 4 hours or so.  The drive to Batangas was really beautiful.  We got to see what provinces lie outside of Manila.  The first place we went to was Tagaytay.  This was similar to the atmosphere of Kula on Maui ad the air was col and clean.  It's nice to breath some air when breathing Manila air daily.  There was some very nice views from a restaurant we went to on the top of the mountain.  From tagaytay we could see batangas.  We had some special sup and pancit malabon, while having a great view.
We then continued onto Batangas as we passed through a number of small towns.  We saw someone selling live chickens on the side of the road.  That was pretty funny.  We arrived at Batangas around late afternoon and went to one of Gianni's guest homes.  Here we picked up the boat and went to the dock to drop it into the water.  It was cool to see how to unload the boat int the water.  Soon we were off in this high speed boat.  Gianni even let me drive it at one point.  It was pretty fun, but the steering wheel was realy stiff.  So you really had to put some muscle into it.  We went to fill the boat with gasand went to this cliff.  and again, we had to convince aman it was safe to jump off the cliff into the water.  Gianni jumped off the higher cliff and jumped off one about 10 feet lower.  It was pretty high, but it was still easy cause you didn't need to clear any horizontal distance.  We kept cheering aman on and he kept staring at the bottom.  it took about 15 minutes before he jumped.
After cliff jumping we just chilled having some beers.  it was so tranquil cause there was no one in sight.  We returned to another house of Gianni's to have some food and it was good.  I can't believe how hospitable the Filipinos are to me.
Later after a power nap, we went to the old hourse to meet up with some of Gianni's friends.  We drove them back to the house and got situated.  We basically just chilled for the rest of the night drinking and telling stories.  I was th eonly one that couldn't speak tagalog again.  sheez!
