today was pretty cool! got up late, but still began a day with a bang. it's pretty cool to go somewhere and know someone because they will tell you what you need to see. it makes seeing a place so much easier.
today we met at school and rounded up some people to go to Fredericksburg Castle. Took a long train ride there for about 45 minutes. the train system here again is really good and an effective means of transportation in Copenhagen.
the group consisted of Mike, Neiel, Scott, and Jose. they also have yet to go to the Castle themselves. I guess it's sometimes good to have a tourist around so you too can see the places that you haven't seen yet. it's similar to my situation is florence because i still have a lot of places to see, but i take it for granted.
the castle itself was magnificent. Allegedly, it is one of the top ten things to see in europe. it is known for being the largest castle in Scandinavia. it had a similarity that of palace of Versailles. Every room in the castle seemed as if it was designed uniquely with pictures and sculptures.
Afterwards Mike and Jose had to leave to do some things. Neiel, Scott, and i walked through the garden surrouning the castle and decided to take a break on th elawn. It was a good place to relax and just chill.
upon our return we needed to get some meat fo Wevies BBQ. Here at the BBQ I got to meet all of my friends peers in the DIS. it looks like they got a good bunch of people to study with here. After eating we took off for a bar called Moose. This place was pretty packed, but it was better than being outside in the cold. Everyone was here at the bar except mike because he is going girl crazy here. afterwards with a good buzz, it was best to crash at scott's place cause they had an extra bed. We took the bus really late, but we kept falling asleep on the bus and kept missing our stop. I think we might have gone two cycles before getting off. Pretty funny though. Scott said that wasn't he first time he's done that.
