Airport. We got our luggage out of the car, and bid farewell to
grandparents and our aunt and uncle. We went inside the airport, checked
in, and got into the gate at around 2:00 a.m. I immediately fell
asleep, like my father and brother, for about an hour and a half. When
the plane arrived, we were awake and energized(or so we though). We
boarded the plane, and again fell asleep, despite our nap. The plane
landed in Dubai in about two hours, and we got off and went to the other
gate. We looked at the Burj Khalifa from the airport windows, afraid
that we may never see it again. While we were walking through the
tunnel to the airplane, I caught my last glimpse of the worlds tallest
building. I had become so attached to this building, and the city. We
boarded the plane and were soon off. The flight didn't seem as long as
it had the last time, and we amused ourselves by playing games and watching movies. When we arrived in Los Angeles, we got out and went to the baggage claim. I was kind of glad to be back in the "Home of the Free". It took about an hour for all of the bags to arrive for some reason. When they finally all came, we went outside and called the Hacienda people, who can to pick us up and take us to the hotel. At the hotel, my father brought the car and we loaded the luggage into it. We set off from Los Angeles and immediately went to Costco to taste American pizza again. From there, it was straight home.
