I dressed up as Santa for a charity run a few weekends ago. It was great, a couple thousand Santa's all gathered at the Princes Street Gardens to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation. We only ran around the park twice, but you left feeling good, and with a free Santa outfit!

Then, I caught the train to London last Tuesday to see David Gray! What a fanominal concert! He has such a warm stage presence...you feel like your old college buddy just walked out there.

**strange feeling, I just said 'old college buddy'...didn't think that would happen yet

Anyways, it was a great show, he sounded wonderful, and I simply must buy the new CD!
Afterwards I went back to my girlie Eliza's flat. She's such a doll, she made me banana pancakes for breakfast!!

So now I just finished my last shift at the Pub, tomorrow is my last day with Karen, then Thursday (22nd) I'm off to London to meet Jim and Layla. I'll be there until the 26th or 27th, then back in Edinburgh for the New Year's Hogmanony (Huge party in the Gardens) then back to London on the first, and then I'll be in Prauge by the 2nd. Staying there for 10 days!!! Back to London, for a few days, then I'll catch a flight to Dublin, do orientation, then train to Galway where I begin the same process I started 6 months ago.

Phew...that's quite a lot of travel in the next few weeks. But I gotta say, I'm really excited about moving again, and shamelessly I beginning to relish this nomadic lifestyle I seem to be developing for myself. Plus...I have a really good feeling about Ireland, like something great is waiting for me there...I don't know, I've always been a bit of a drama romantic so how much weight can you really put on that is up in the air. Either way, it's what gives you the jump in your stomach and skip in the step...so I'll keep on smiling!
