Daniel Ortega won the election in early November, but there are still sqirmishes between the factions. There were morter rounds going off in this neighborhood a few days BEFORE I got here. I missed it, damn it. They say that Ortega stole the election. Who does he think he is, George Bush? Hell, it's the Banana Republic fer Christ's sake.

The Super Mercado is only 5 min from the Hostel. This was a school bus with young kids, not a chicken bus.
