Went to my Aunt Têtê's house from Friday to Monday. I had a suitcase that was full of gifts just for them. We all gathered in the living room on Friday night and I seriously felt like Santa. Everyone simply loved their gifts...I managed to get something that each one of them wanted. Nice! My cousin Eduardo got the new PS2 game 'Shadow of the Colossus'. It was getting rave reviews for it's graphics and stuff and it's just the kind of game my cousin likes to play. He played it on the Saturday and even I was blown away by it. It simply is a very amazing game. My other cousin Leo got 'Mortal Kombat : Deception' for his Xbox. It rained on Saturday, so we stayed in...but Sunday it was nice and hot and I spent most of the day lounging by the pool and getting some nice color on me. It doesn't take much for me to take on a toasty complexion...so I just needed about 1 hour in the morning sun. By noon the sun is simply unbearable and you would be insane to try to tan then. I think I actually need to invest in some sun screen now. I was always the kind of person that never put the stuff on cuz I always wanted to tan. But the sun here is really hot and I need to start taking better care of my skin. Don't want to 3rd degree burns or skin cancer.
Sunday night my Aunt Gina came over and brought some yummy cake. My cousin Marcela's birthday was on the 22nd of November and mine had been on the 19th...so it was a dual celebration birthday cake. We all sorts of yummy BBQd meat. Ahhh, I love being among other meat-obssessed humans. Makes being a carnivore much easier. I think I must've been some kind of cat in a past life to be such an obligate carnivore this life! LOL! As a gift from my Aunts, I scored a basketful popular brazilian bon-bons and other assorted candies. Man...people here really DO wanna see me pork out! It's gonna be hard making those last....they are soooo yummy!
It was a nice relaxing weekend. Got to get some sun action by the pool and made Xmas happen a month early at their house.
