I was actually awake and not in any pain around 10 AM. This surprised me to no end...as I was expecting a full-on walking dead kinda day. I texted Brad to see if he was awake and mobile. I was feeling the hunger and decided that I should follow up the previous night of drinking with a nice greasy breakfast. Brad came and picked me up (my scooter was left parked at Buddha View). We went to the Greasy Spoon for their American Breakfast special. We met up with Irish Dave (there were quite a few Daves/Davids around and we tried to separate people by nationality. There was actually another Irish Dave...so things were confusing at times. Anyway...turns out Irish Dave had somehow lost his dive computer the night before along with some cash. This happens often as the Ladyboys on the island take full advantage of passed out 'farangs' (foreigners) on the beach. Anyone who is unfortunate enough to pass out on any of Koh Tao's beaches will find himself/herself picked clean of valuables come morning light. Dive computers are quite prized because even if they are sold off at a much lower price...it's still way more money than they can hope to make in a short time. Anyway...Irish Dave was not really quite sure what happened to his dive computer...it remains a mystery till this very day. :p
After breakfast Brad drove me to Buddha View so I could pick up my scooter. I was approached by one of the instructors there  and he asked me if I was busy that afternoon. I said I was just planning on taking it easy and recovering mostly...but he then said that they needed a DM to take out some fun divers that afternoon. I grudgingly accepted. I was feeling mostly okay and so I felt that I could handle it and maybe a dip or two in the cool water would actually do me good. I quickly drove home to change into my bikini and pick up my mask and wetsuit.
The first dive was to Mango Bay. I didn't know Mango Bay very well. Mango Bay is a site that Open Water students are taken to for their first few dives/confined sessions. I never really filmed there much. Only Simple Life liked to take their Open Waters to Mango Bay for their graduation dives and I didn't film much with them (and not at all since the incident back in August).
The dive was...interesting. One girl lost her mask when she jumped into the water and I had to go down and pick it up for her. Someone else lost a fin when they jumped in and I had to go swim around to find it (it was a bit wavy that day). After everybody was ready we went down and started the dive.
I had some navigation issues during the dive and it didn't come out quite how I had planned it. We re-surfaced and I vowed that the second dive would be much better. It was. We went to Twins next and that is a dive site that is easy to navigate as well as full of cool and interesting things to see. The fun divers were happy and I was relieved.
After all the stressing and worrying about the fun divers and the physical aspect of the diving finally hit me...I found that I was completely exhausted. The previous night's activities came crashing down upon me and all I wanted to do was eat some dinner and pass out in my comfy bungalow.
