The sun shone again on Day Two - in fact I'm only going to comment on extreme weather from here on.

I met some of Kevin's friends at the Petroleum Club for coffee this morning. They were all very excited by Padraig Harrington's win !! Afterwards we called into his office and met everyone there.

Carrie, Debbie and the kids explored the first part of the local Mall - one of them. Great bargains to be had by all.

In the afternoon we headed to the Petroleum Museum (which explains where oil comes from and how it is used) and then the onto the American Airpower Heritage Museum which holds a fantastic display of warplanes from down through the ages, incuding a section on Nose Art (fantastic pictures drawn by the airmen on their planes during the war) and various exhibitions showing what life was like during WWII.

Both museums were very entertaining with loads of interactive items which helped explain things really clearly.

After drinks and nibbles at Tom and Beth's house we headed over to Carrie's parents house where Denis and Jane put on a great spread and we met up with loads of her family members. Once again we had fantastic barbecued food - food really does taste better when cooked outdoors !!!
