American Eagle flies a large number of Internal US Flights using a 45-seater jet - crewed by just one cabin hostess (oh and two pilots of course). These planes (while perfectly safe) do not instill confidence in tired passengers - especially when the air hostess asked Debbie ( in the case of an emergency) would she be willing to hold the passengers back while the hostess opened the emergency exits !!

We saw the most fantastic lightening storm during the short flight to Midland - where we were met by Uncle Kevin and Auntie Carrie. The 9.50pm touchdown time in Texas was equal to 3.50am ( the following day) in Dublin - despite this the kids were still happy to hit Rosa's drive thru' Mexican restaurant on the way home. The food was great - I'd bet we will be back at some stage over the next three weeks.
