13 km.
Even though I've mentioned the walk to Finisterre may not be worth it, the town itself is great. We didn't get an albergue but a really great place with an ocean view for just a bit more than we would've spent at the albergue. The town has a resort feel--how could it not?--yet it's not uppity or full of drunkards. The photos (and the captions) tell the rest of the story.
Tip #24: Don't carry your bag to the end of the world. If you decide to walk to Finisterre, which is great in its own right (though the walk's not as much), there is no point in walking with your pack all the way to lighthouse at the end of the world, which is about 3 km uphill from the town itself. The albergue doesn't open until 5 PM, so you're better off getting a nice, cheap room where you can leave your bag and then continue on. Worried that it's cheating? Well, would a true pilgrim in 1200 carry his bag all the way? certainly not.
