To-day, the walking was quite pleasant. Many people continue on to Finisterre and make it in three days, but we had no reason to do so. The towns of Cée and Corcubión are right by each other, quite modern, and have a relaxed feel, as they are on the coast. We picked up lots of candy in Cée and it was finished by the time we were headed into Corcubión. The albergue was great but for the communal meal of lentils.
Tip #23: Avoid communal meals. There are only a few albergues along the way that do this, but how uncomfortable they are! I know some people really like talking to strangers & getting to know them, but I don't particularly like it--I'd rather eat with friends or alone. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for meeting new people if a friendship will develop--but that isn't going to happen for me when I know I'll never see these people again. Oh, plus, the food may not be great but you feel you owe more for the albergue 'cos they're feeding you.
