Hotel: Home...
After way too many hours of travel, somewhere close 28, or maybe it was 32, I don't really remember now, we were in Vancouver. We do have a beautiful airport, the air is noticebly clean when you climb off the plane, and I was even happy to see a little rain.
We were met in the airport by Ben's family, which was a wonderful surprise, and my dad, who had generously offered us a ride home. With a quick stop at the grocery store for enough basics to get us through the night, we finally made it home.
Ben instantly made a peanut butter and banana sandwich. I couldn't have been happier to climb into my bed, with my pillow, and my sheets. It was very surreal to be home.
For the record, we both got up the next morning and went to work. It was weird to drive myself, and odd not to be addressed as the "Queen of Vancouver."
