Plan: There are many sites that are only accessible by boat, today: crossing the Tropic of Cancer, Wadi el Seboua Temple, Temple of Dakka & Temple of Meharakka. In Amada, in the afternoon, we will see Temples of Amada, Temple of Derr, Tomb of Penout. Spending the evening in Amada.
Hotel: Aboard the ship

After our great Sun Festival adventure, we had to make it back to the rest of the group who were touring around the three sites of Wadi el-Seboua. Our van got stuck in the sand again, and there was no sight of the tractor, so we started walking. Halfway there, the tractor showed up to rendezvous us with the tour.

It was slightly embarrassing to pass others who were trekking or riding camels from the first sight to the second. But what else can you do when you are on a tractor? Due to our evening adventure we missed the first sight, Wadi el-Seboua, which seemed pretty cool as we lumbered past, there were some really neat statues out front.
The second, the Temple of Dakka, and the third temple blend into a memory of temples in general. We were pretty tired at this point, it was somewhere around 11 am and we had been up for nearly 12 hours-wrestling other tourists-on less than a couple hours sleep.
