Today we went to visit the "Slovak Paradise" - Slovensky Raj. This is a mountainous area with walks through some ravines along waterfalls and rivers. It is BEAUTIFUL! It is a little unusual because, as you will notice in the pictures, they have wooden ladders and metal foot bridges and chains to hang onto as you cross cliff faces - its amazing! I cant describe it, you'll just have to see the pictures!
It was a very long walk, though enjoyable, but when we got down we found out that the next bus wasnt for another 3 hours! Saturdays here everything either shuts down or slows down! So we walked and walked and walked and found a train station, where the train wasnt coming for another 2 hours! And, at last, we found a bus stop where the bus showed up ten minutes later! All in all, however, we ended the walk at 5:30 and didnt get home untill 10:30! Needless to say my feet are KILLING ME! and we are both really tired.
