Lately we came to the realization that we are running out of time and there is still a lot to see, so starting from now we are going to try spend as less time less as possible on nothing, and also trying to optimize our stay in Bolivia.
After 6 hours on bus we arrived at Puno, and city on Lake Titicaca, on the border with Bolivia. We took a two day and one night tour on the lake, which included a visit to the Uros floating islands, and then to the island of Amantani where we spent the night with local families who also organized a "local" party for the gringos, which included ponchos and hats for the gringos, and a skirt, shirt, and some had crap for the gringas (see the web album in google). We danced with the locals, which basically meant holding hands and running in circles, but what do I know about dancing?! It was really fun and funny anyway.
Om the next day we went to another island on the lake and saw the local community. From there we went back to Puno.
Tomorrow morning we take bus to Copacabana, a city on lake Titicaca, but from the Bolivian side.
And so, after two month, I say "Bye bye Peru".
