No blog entry for Wednesday....it was the day of travelling back to Zurich from Luzern, saying goodbye to Aman + Mandip and resting! I have had a long, busy, lots of walking few days. I took yesterday to just rest up and relax, which was nice.

Hibo made us a nice dinner...chicken, beans and rice. I have been craving rice for days now, very happy to have satisfied it. I also discovered my favourite chocolate...Ovalmatine. I decided it's my favourite. My parents always drank and gave us Ovaltine (that's the name in our parts) growing up. When I saw the chocolate, I wasn't sure about it. I think I ate an entire bar myself. It is just that good!

After dinner I had some big decisions to make. Do I spend the 7.5 hours total round trip to go to Milan via train and only spend 6hours there. I was so indecisive. When I woke up 530am...I was like "hell no!"..so tired. Then I decided, I'd likely sleep in until 11am anyway, and that's what time I'd arrive in Milano. Baji's "No saving! Go go go!" also gave me some motivation.

It's 9:45am...the views are breathtaking. I'm starving. Should be arriving soon!

Men are beautiful and where Pandoras. I wish I took a pic of this guy with his charm bracelet.

I found Milan to be annoying when I got there. People working at the station were not friendly, or atleast that's how I perceived them, I had to pay to use the washroom. The ATM was on the basement floor....the washroom on the 3rd. So paying to pee was thaaaat annoying! Not sure what I expected heading here alone...but took some searching to find my hop-on, hop-off bus tour. I felt pretty comfortable, until my boss Annette bbm'd me to warn me about Gypsies and them stealing myself. I was then paranoid about gypsies. Lol

Found the tour...and hopped on ..and hopped off in the fashion district. Spent a few hours there. Bought my nieces something, so adorable...only to read the "made in china" tag after purchased. Ah well, what can you do. I love the streets here, narrow and pretty; old meets new with the shops and old buildings. Everyone and everything here is beautiful. I have to admit I was extremely distracted the whole time. I bought a bag...no brand, real leather and I love it. I messaged my girlfriend hibo to ask if it's worth it...she told me if "If you love it, it is" ..Sold!

Didn't have a chance to eat much today, odd day. But I had two lattes, a yummy sandwich and fresh fresh squeezed orange juice. I'm looking forward to dinner tonight. I know, I know...I didnt eat properly in Milan...I have pictures, but will have to upload later, as my camera battery charges.

It was a short visit to Milan...ill be back!
