Myanmar (Burma)~ We crossed the border into Burma for half the day....although we were only in the border town, it was very different. Lots of beggars and many sad birth defects. There was alot of people trying to sell us viagra, the blue pill. It seems as if some one else had bought enough for an elephant earlier on our trip! We passed on the blue pills and sat down for a Myanmar beer with our guide and another Englander. The stereotype of the english having extremely bad teethe has been consistent with our experiences so far. As we had a beer at the restaurant, john denver's "country roads" came on and the monsoons came roaring down. We had another beer as we waited for it to stop pouring. It was time to go back to Chiang Rai where we secured our trip to the Gibbon Experience in Laos. We are headed to check in on the 23rd and will leave on the 24th. Go to
