Today we went to Jinshanling Great Wall about 2 hours away from the city. We spent several hours traversing the wall from Jinshanling towards Simatai. We had lunch at Flower Tower and spent 100 RMB per person for the ride up to the Great Wall and 50 RMB per person for admission. We arranged our driver to pick us up when we were finished. This portion of the Great Wall is probably the best in my opinion, because it begins remodeled and rebuilt and quickly becomes a dangerous trek as portions of the wall have completely deteriorated over time. Simatai was closed so we did not walk all the way to that portion of the wall but we were able to view it from a distance. 
 
All in all, the photos can describe more than my words in this entry. I enjoyed my time up there with the blue clear sky and would definitely recommend Jinshanling over Mutianyu and Badaling anytime. Not recommended for young children, elderly or those who fear dangerous situations.
