for new year we went to christy's house where her parents made a great dinner. then we went to the roof of the building (which is the tallest apartment building in wuxi apparently) and we found a punch bag then counted down the new year! we could see lots of different fireworks going on from the roof.
then we headed down to the clubs and after many hours we went out for bbq. this is where we thought we'd just have a quick few things to eat then head home as it was pretty late at this pont, but no. that was not the case, we got talking to some french speaking Africans who spoke to us for hours and hours, whilst the main group was speaking i got picked off by the drunkest person there who took it upon him self to tell me how to understand people. this conversation culminated in him repeating the words look, listen, and write it all down.for what seemed like hours. he thought that by doing this i would write a book about how people interact and everyone would read it because it was so revealing about peoples behavior....
so that was new year!
Christy's last day in wuxi come around which we were all very sad about. we went to her house then the clubs and sent her off with a great last night!
