Day 42 – Sunday 6 June

Today we were up really early to go to Pompeii. I had heard many people saw hot it was looking around Pompeii as there isn't a lot of shade and I figured it wouldn't be as fun if we were hot and grumpy, so we were out of the campsite before 7.30 and on the 8am train to Pompeii – only 30 mins from Sorrento – so that worked out well.

No lines to get in and get tickets, we grabbed our audioguides and headed into the old town.
