Getting excited now, a couple of nights ago headed to the main football watching venue to see Germany play in the opening match. The place was a zoo, queued up for over an hour sandwiched between sweaty germans to finally get in to where the big screen was and ended up standing on a table the whole match to see it! Great atmosphere but the next day i took the leisurely approach to the England match, sat back in a shady beergarden, drinking beer and watching it on one of the numerous large LCD screens they had set up. Kate and I are having fun catching up with Sarah and soaking up the sun. The lake is stunning and on a clear day the alps can be seen in the distance. The Swiss border is a 15min walk away so later next week we'll be heading over to find a chocolate factory :)
