Having to cross our path we came back up to A1 highway to head north up toward Port Augusta. We again passed all those Chook Farms, there are shed after shed after shed of them, the roadsides are feathered! from trucking them out I assume!

We stopped for lunch in this picturesque little town.....fair dinkum SA is full of gorgeous unspoilt sleepy little towns, you could stay and unwind in every one of them!

The country started to change from flat and salty to speccy hill ranges both sides, one side over the water to Eyre Peninsula. We went for a walk from the "Longest wooden pier in Australia" up the main street and browsed through a shop called The Junk Shop, quite the characters with humorous poems and ditties hanging from all sorts of paraphernalia, bit dear compared to what we are used to and going by the cobwebs, looks as though they haven't sold much either...... but we don't need or want anything anyway, good fun to look though.

Note pic of Bubby, very relaxed and snoozing while we are driving along!
