is what guineans do...i needed the last 2 days to go from bissau to labe; 450 km all in all.
But when ur average vmax equals 20 km/h then this is a large distance.
One of the reasons i bought my car was because i could avoid the peugot 405 combi shared taxi. which is about the same as my passat. Only much older. Most of them i saw actually being broken down at the side of the road... They asked me if i have a paste to make the engine airtight again...as if this is something everybloke ought to have...
so most of the time i have hitchhikers, and from another world they are...they have no idea how to use a seatbelt, most can not open the door and 2 stepped with their feet onto the seats...or tried to take chicken, sacks of stuff and a cow into the car after i say step in.
my record is 6 people in the car, for the peugot this means empty.
Up to 4 people hang on to the oversized luggage on the roof, 4 sit in front; same in the other rows, sometimes even more i think...its nearly impossible to really count tehm because their drivers race by with rally speed, so that after they passed a cloud of dust is all i can see in my window...

Buen viaje!
