We calmed our hangovers in Singapore's finest Burger King then took a taxi to Colin and Christine's house. They have been here for a year with Lucas (3 1/2 and Julia 1 1/2).

It's hotter than Hong Kong and less humid. Midnight swimming is the best way to cool off here (well, any time you can).

More malls! Jesus, they're everywhere.

Hooters has the smallest in any of their outlets - so Guy reckons anyway...

More and more food - Mongolian, Thai, BBQ, seafood, wine, beer, etc... Somebody hide the scales!

We watched England v Trinidad and Tobago at midnight in a hotel after a black tie boxing event. The event was sponsored by FHM, with the ladies you would expect in attendance, so Guy thoroughly enjoyed himself funning round with a rolled up copy of the magazine ;o)

4 Floors of whores a classy club!

Sentosa - "Singapore's Island Resort" - for people with low expectations of beaches! You ride a cable car from the mainland to get there, which is probably the best bit. It's a tiny low budget Disney with a man made beach that looks out onto the world's 2nd largest port (and the big ugly ships). Paddled in the sea, had a smoothie and rode in the Carlsburg Tower thingie to look at the view (of nice tankers).

Rode the Duck Tour of the city; on land and water. Bit naff but good for a view/the kids.

We're going for a bike ride on the East Coast today (Sunday 18th) and it's damn hot. We fly to Cairns tonight where we have good intentions of drinking water and being healthy (for at least two days).

Photos will be firstly from Rach's mobile and followed up by camera pics again.

Guy and Rach xx
