Most of the time we have been here Gary's dog Brutus has been sick.  Think I mentioned before that he has a form of cancer.  Toady we took him and Chester, the other dog, for a ride in the car.  First stop was The Dog Park,  Only in America do they set up about a 5 acre park specifically for dogs,  The entrance is a airlock style double gate setup so that the first gate is shut before you get to the inner one, and there is a small wash bay alongside.   The main park is divided into four sections used at different times.  Luckily almost all the dogs are well trained which minimises altercations.   It only minimises them, they still happen!
From there to Gary's Flower Studio in the West Palm Beach airport complex, and then to the Vet to give Brutus the once over.  He was passed as fit as can be expected, geting over the leg sore problem and continue taking care of him.
Off then to Best Buy to return a remote mouse we bought with the computer which failed to operate.  That was a lesson in customer service as there wasn't any!!   First we were asked to pay $3 odd as the difference in value??  The new one was the same price as the old one, but this was a different branch of the same company, and the first one gave us a 10% discount which this one didn't want to do.  Some persuasive chat on my part solved that problem, however it did bothing for my servers demeener.  Whan I asked to see it working on our computer, which I took for this purpose she opned the packaging and almost threw it at me to try myself, no further assistance!!  The doorman was no more interested in my comment on lack of service than she was.
Strange because they tend to be all over you in most stores.
From there Gary drove through downtown West Palm Beach to the A1A which runs south along the coast right next to the Atlantic on one side and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other.  The winter homes of the rich and famous along this road are just out of this world, no photos of them today but must get some, they are like small Italian or Spanish hotels.  Most on the right Waterway side of the road have beach front "cabins" (houses) that most of us would pleased to have as our regular house!!  Some have tunnel acess under the road so they don't have to mix with the hoi poloi on their way to the beach.  Just a bit further along was a small park next to an Ocean acess canal with a cafe that sold us an icecream, so that we could relax while the dogs enjoyed a sniff around the park.  No photo's of flash houses, just a couple I found from yesterday.
