Bob & Mary Sue wanted to go to San Antonio to do some errands, I needed tyres on the bike so we found a Honda dealer half way there and rang and arranged to get a set of tyres.  I rode the bike down whilst the other 3 rode in air conditioned Toyota Avalon comfort and we dropped the bike off and continued to San Marcos Factory Outlets shopping centre.  Huge is not a big enough word.  They come from Mexico to shop here, motor homes and caravans park for a week while their owners shop.  As they say, everything is big in Texas and this is BIIIGGG.  On down to Randolf Air Base for Lieutenant Colonel (retired) Owens to pick up his medical supplies, and Mary Sue and Lona to shop in the military supermarket where everything is even cheaper, no tax!!

Picked up the bike on our way back, $444.00 for two tyres, now riding through the heart of Austin in peak hour traffic in 100 F heat.  Lost my guide in the middle of the city but managed to beat them home by only seconds.

Went out in the evening to play poker with friends at Cedar City just north of here.  Lots of fun, big and little Debbie, twins Ray & Mark, plus us four.  Crazy game of poker which luckily no one takes seriously, the dealer nominates which form of the game this next hand will take and there seems to be dozens of variants.  We did OK I think Lona & I won about $10 between us,  Bob & Mary Sue won as well so it was a fun night out.
