Had a nice salad last night at the Skeet Steak house with a very nice server called Kaylen, not real hungary so we both had chicken salads.
This morning Super Eight put on a hot breakfast with small sausages and kind of mini omelettes made of just egg, bit like scrambled egg without the scramble!!
Set off just after 8 o'clock under threatening weather having listened to monsoon rain thunder and lightning thro' the night.  Roads were wet all the way to Austin but we only got very light rain a couple of times.  Wore our bike jackets for the first time this trip.  Coolish at 70-75 F all the way.
Followed I/S 20 to Abilene then picked up east 84 again thro' to Coleman where we stopped for coffee and a break.  Found 230/84 on down to Brownwood and Lampasas and then 183 which I knew went to where our turnoff to Bob & Mary Sue's house, just had to look out for Spicewood Springs Road and we were home and hosed.

Got here at about 12.45 and were welcomed as usual.  Had a relax and a sandwich for lunch and MS and Lona went shopping, what else?  Bob & I washed and chamoised the bike and put it away before Bob and I debated on which job we should do next, and of all the options decided the recliners looked the most inviting, so settled down for a long chat about Bob's heart attack and my prostate cancer, a boys own afternoon.

About 5 pm we all decided that the pool cleaning job was quite urgent so spent the next hour watching MS & Lona do that while Bob & I polished off the only two beers in the pool frige.

Nice pork roast dinner and the evening was completed with a couple of hands of Up & Down the River and then Shanghai, cards for the uninitiated.

It is now 11.20 pm, all except me settled for the night, we are tired another longish day I think about 260 miles.

The photo's will have to wait as I am on MS 's computer without download facility from my camera.
