Fantastic day on the road.  Pulled out around 7:30am and had a 302 mile trip through some beautiful parts of Iowa and Illinois.  Took a long time, but the weather was perfect, which makes all the difference.
I got the majority of today's footage on the trip down with shots of all the cars as well as all the enthusiastic townspeople out there waving us on like a holiday parade.
With a lunch stop and a couple of gas stops, we didn't get to downtown Springfield until 3:30.
Ran into some of our ARS Promotions "fans", which is always exciting to me.  They were from Des Plaines, IL and decided to do the Tour after watching our previous Power Tour videos.
Anyway, as usual, it's late and I need to get the video uploaded.
"see" you all tomorrow!

Amy

P.S. We did not take the Chevell that Dave has been working SO hard on the past three weeks because the bearing in the hydraulic clutch went out two times this week, including Friday afternoon and the last thing you want on the Power Tour is being stuck on the side of the road and doing trans work!  So we took 'ol reliable herself, Black Betty
