What a great day in Iowa! Catched up with a lot of old friends from Cherry Bomb and Power Tour staff. Made a bunch of new connections as well. The turnout was incredible. The venue was great, the Newton Speedway which is a NASCAR track. People got to race around the track as well as do some drag racing. We were so busy with promo shots! Had dinner with the Memphis Mob gang.
Now the hotel is another story. Scary. Totally old place where someone is attempting to "update". Not working. At least it's just for one night and the sheets look clean (?)
Weather was pretty good today. Hit some rain on the way over, but the day really cleared up and got up to about 80. Off to Springfield, IL tomorrow, our longest trip on this tour, 302 miles. So it looks like we'll be up and out of here bright and early.
