So the drive down was easy and pretty quick. Hit some rain, but that's how it usually goes for us.
It cleared up beautifully for us here in Springfield. Very nice downtown area. After checking into
the hotel we quickly drove to the registration area. Once we got our credentials, we headed over
to downtown Springfield. Initially we planned on doing the "cruise" where you drive around for a
while in a parade like setting, but fortunately we were able to park in the Cherry Bomb display
right on the main strip! (in your best Buy Owner voice:) Thank you Cherry Bomb!
So we had a choice spot for filming the car cruise and all the other action tonight. TONS of cars; we could have filmed for 2 hours, but you get the idea...
The streets are packed with people; I wonder what tomorrow will be like!
