We left our house at 6:30am to meet up with Mike, Jon and Mike at Tri Power Automotive in Libertyville, IL, then headed off to Walker Bros in Buffalo Grove to meet the rest of the gang and have breakfast.  We had a total of 9 Pontiacs in all.
Finally got on the road at 9:30am.
All was going very well, the weather was beautiful and we had the top down on the 1970 GTO we were driving.  Got some fantastic video.
Around 1:00 somewhere near LaFayette, IN one of the cars lost oil pressure, which turned out to be one of the engine bearings going.  Needless to say, he wasn't going anywhere, so a flatbed was called and we moved on for a late lunch at Cracker Barrel.  Now down to 8 Pontiacs.
After lunch we headed for Indianapolis.  There we stopped off to see an absolutely amazing car collection owned by Ray Skillman, the owner of many local car dealerships in the Indy area.  Check out the pictures!!
Well.  We finally roll out of there around 7:30!!  We still had well over two hours until Dayton, OH.
Rolled in at 11:00 (lost an hour remember).  So here I am, checking in with you all so you know we're O.K.
Check back tomorrow!!
