Where I stayed
Started the day out at Milestone Paint & Body in Mt. Julet, TN. Owner, Jacob Miles was a fantastic host. Not only did he lay out a great lunch spread, have car/automotive trivia questions and prizes, but he also had the Tennessee National Guard come out with their new helicopter that they use for search & rescue missions, tornado relief, etc. They flew in low from the treeline, did a couple of pass overs and landed. We then moved all the hot rods around it for a great photo op.
After Jacob's place we headed toward Cookeville.
We took a beautiful ride through the mountains; the leaves are just starting to change. Made a stop at a local winery and ended up at American Powertrain in Cookeville. Gray Frederick provided fresh made brats for us Northerners and had a rockin' band. A really fun night was had by all.
Off to Chattanooga tomorrow!Amy
